 CLIENT POLICIES
SERVICE AGREEMENT
By booking services with The Happy Tails Club (“Company”), the pet owner (“Client”) agrees to the following terms.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Client agrees to:
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding their pet(s), including vaccination status, medical conditions, behavioral history, and any known aggression.
 • Supply safe and appropriate equipment including collars, harnesses, leashes, tags, food, medications, litter, waste bags, and any other necessary supplies.
 • Notify the Company of any changes to the pet’s medical condition or behavior before services are provided.
 • Ensure pets are safe to handle and do not pose a known danger to the sitter.
 • Pay all fees on or before services are provided.
COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Happy Tails Club agrees to:
• Provide pet care services as scheduled and agreed upon.
 • Use reasonable care and judgment when handling pets.
 • Contact the Client or the Client’s designated emergency contact if issues arise during services.

BOOKING, PAYMENT, AND FEES
Payment is due at the time of service or upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods:
• Cash
 • Zelle
 • Venmo
HOLIDAYS AND AFTER-HOURS
Services scheduled on holidays or outside of normal service hours may incur additional fees.

CANCELLATION POLICIES
Dog walks and training sessions may be canceled without charge if notice is given by 9:00 AM on the day of service. Cancellations made after this time will be charged the full visit fee.
In-home dog sitting requires cancellation by 12:00 PM seven (7) days before the scheduled start date.
Cancellations made after this time will be charged 50% of the total booking cost.

IN-HOME DOG SITTING POLICIES
When The Happy Tails Club provides overnight dog sitting in a client’s home, the following applies:
• Services include feeding, walks or potty breaks, playtime, and light household duties such as collecting mail, turning lights on/off, and taking out trash generated during the stay.
 • The sitter will remain in the home for the agreed overnight hours of 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM unless otherwise arranged.
 • The sitter may leave the home for up to 3–4 hours at a time during the day as needed.
LATE RETURN POLICY
For scheduling and fairness, stays that extend past 7:00 PM are considered an additional overnight and will be billed at the nightly rate.
HOME ACCESS
Clients must notify neighbors, building management, or security staff that a sitter is authorized to be in the home.
Clients must inform the Company if any third party will be entering the home during the booking period. The Company is not responsible for supervising or monitoring third parties.

EMERGENCY VETERINARY CARE
If a pet becomes ill or injured while under the care of The Happy Tails Club and the Client cannot be reached, the Client authorizes the Company to seek veterinary care at its discretion.
The Client agrees to reimburse all veterinary costs, including emergency transportation or caregiver time associated with obtaining care.
The Happy Tails Club is not responsible for the outcome of veterinary treatment.

LIABILITY AND RISK ACKNOWLEDGMENT
The Client understands that working with animals involves inherent risks including bites, scratches, illness, escape, injury, or property damage.
The Client agrees that:
• They are solely responsible for their pet’s actions and behavior.
 • The Happy Tails Club is not liable for illness, injury, escape, death of pets, or damage to property unless caused by intentional misconduct.
 • The Client agrees to indemnify and hold The Happy Tails Club harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from the pet’s behavior or actions.
The Company is not responsible for damage caused by pets to furniture, carpets, household items, or structures unless due to the Company’s gross negligence.
The Company is not liable for loss or theft of household items unless caused by intentional misconduct.

SAFETY AND TRAINING POLICY
Training results cannot be guaranteed.
If the Company encounters unsafe or aggressive behavior, the Company reserves the right to stop services immediately for the safety of the sitter, the pet, and others.

HOME PRIVACY AND CAMERAS
Clients must disclose the location of all indoor surveillance cameras located in areas accessible to the sitter.
Clients authorize The Happy Tails Club to take photos or videos of pets for service updates and marketing purposes unless the client opts out.
To protect client privacy:
• No identifying information such as addresses or client names will be shared on social media.
 • Key tags will not contain identifying address information.
By booking services with The Happy Tails Club, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these policies.
